I upgraded to 8.1, and there was no new email or anything, nor ane requested, nor does this seem to be requesting anything of the sort, nor lament my copy isn't registered. It'south complaining for some reason that I, as a user, am not verified, which seems odd since I had to type in my password to log in, can admission Live and etc, and nevertheless nothing.

Microsoft account has a security feature called Trusted PC for verifying your identity automatically and performing sensitive actions. If you get such problem in Windows 8.i upgrade, it seems to be a bug and here is a elementary workaround for that.
First switch from a Microsoft Business relationship to a Local Account and cheque if it helps:
ane. Sign in to your Microsoft account
2. Open Charms bar by moving your mouse cursor to the tiptop right corner of screen.
3. Click Setting > More PC setting > Accounts, so "Your business relationship".
4. On the right side, click "Disconnect" button under your display proper noun at the elevation.
five. Input your Microsoft business relationship's password, and click Adjacent push button.
Now blazon in your local account data like name, password, and password hit, and click Next > Sign out and finish.
To create a new local user account in Windows 8 follow te steps

based on your suggested steps, doesn't that mean I volition no longer exist able to synchronise my PC with my Microsoft account? If that is so,can y'all suggest alterative solution?
The higher up problem causes my Onedrive app to stop working. Is at that place a solution to overcome information technology. At present, I have to access my Onedrive files through the Onedrive website, which is less convenient.

You are wrong , My computer is doing same thing and it will NOT let Me exercise Diddly Squawt.. I'm gear up to s,.... tin Microsoft outlook, I've never had any bug before and this really sucks.. NO ONE has an answer that actually works.. My next computer will not be an Hp and will not have Microsoft....

this is completely ridiculous, if I create a new local account and then it tells me I tin can't access my saved one drive stuff from the original microsoft business relationship that I'm trying to verify. Based on all the others who seem to be having the aforementioned upshot , there should be a logical set for us, obviously its a microsoft programming issue, and you people want us to do a lame culling, I'1000 the only one who uses my computer I just want that stupid fing message off , it says it will have 3o days and be back to ok on 7-2-15, well thats today, so, I downloaded the microsoft account atuthenticator app to my tablet and it wont let me verify my outlook account, just my hotmail business relationship and the code generator doesn't give you plenty time to write down the code to get to where you have to enter information technology , as information technology is a nine digit number so by the time you've written down and tried to enter in the next screen the fourth dimension has lapsed and it has generated a new lawmaking, this is very annoying , I tin can't sync any of my apps on any of my devices because I can't verify my flippen Identity. This is merely a bunch of balderdash, outlook sucks big fourth dimension I never had any problems until opening a stupid outlook email account, which I was using strictly for important things , so at present I accept to redo every affair , how lame, Ive had it , I only want to scream and cry
